A Harmonious Experience: Our Journey at the World Congress of Music Therapy

From July 24th to 29th, the world of music therapy converged in a symphony of ideas, experiences, and connections at the World Congress of Music Therapy in Vancouver, B.C.. Every three years, this global event unites music therapy professionals and experts from around the world, and we had the privilege of participating in this transformative experience. In this blog, we'll take you through our journey at the World Congress of Music Therapy, sharing the highlights, connections made, and the inspiration gained.


A Global Gathering

The World Congress of Music Therapy is a truly global event, with more than 1000 professionals hailing from all seven continents in attendance. This diverse and vibrant gathering showcased the universal appeal of music therapy and its power to transcend geographical boundaries.

As proud members of Perfect Harmony Music Studio, we attended the congress alongside Teacher Karen, a board-certified music therapist, and Teacher Sam, a trained HealthRHYTHMS and drum circle Facilitator. Our presence at the event was a testament to our commitment to the field of music therapy and our desire to learn, connect, and grow.



Promoting Remo Products and Health Rhythm Training


During the congress, Sam and Karen had the unique opportunity to collaborate with Remo staff, particularly Arianna Marie Monge, in promoting Remo products and the HealthRHYTHMS Training program. It was inspiring to see how music therapy tools and instruments can play a vital role in the healing process and enhance the therapeutic experience for individuals worldwide.


Jamming and Connection


One of the most memorable aspects of the congress was the live music jamming sessions. It was incredible to witness the power of music in action, as professionals and enthusiasts from various corners of the world came together to create beautiful harmonies. These jam sessions fostered a sense of unity and showcased the universal language of music.
